What happened next in A Busker’s Love Song? Here is part two of his story and if you missed the introduction, you can read it here.
A Busker’s Love Song – Part 2
Half-torn hat in his quivering hand declares
whether to cry or commend this day, while
White Lady struts through town and a fan
of yesterday’s papers saves the busker’s face.
A pirouette later she sweeps his dreams,
his breath, a kiss into drifts. His faith
in fate gives him daily strength
when his heart lies in the gutter.
If you would like to find out more about the White Lady and the poor Busker see you next week!
